Annual Community Luncheon

The LWVDK Community Luncheon is and annual event sponsored by our organization. We use this event to discuss pertinent issues in the community and to raise awareness of the DeKalb League and programs, projects, and services.

This year, the Community Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The topic is Cityhood and/or Annexation: Implications for Taxation, Education, and Resources.

Speakers are:

• Dr. Crawford Lewis, Superintendent of DeKalb County Schools

• Katherine G. Willoughby, Profession of Urban Economics at Georgia State University.

The Luncheon will be held at the Holiday Inn Conference Center located at 130 Claremont Avenue, Decatur, GA  30030.

Cost:

• $50.00 for non-League participants (Register Online)

• $40.00 for League members (Register Online)
