The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. Any person of voting age, male or female, may become a League member.

Nominate Board Members and Officers for LWV DeKalb County

This year we are asking you to consider not only those who will be officers, but we are looking for board members to take on the roles of major committees or functions. Therefore the nomination committee is asking you to consider candidates for the following positions: President; President-Elect; Vice President, 3^rd Fundraising; Treasurer; and additionally Chairs for Voter Education, Voter Services, Communications Committee, as well as Parliamentarian.  More details will be in the guidance provided with your nomination form.

LWVDK Annual Meeting

Our Annual Meeting is coming up on April 17^th.  There we will vote on new LWVDK leadership, decide our program focus for the year, approve our annual budget, and vote on any changes to our by-laws.  You will receive additional information regarding these exciting updates one month prior to the meeting.
